Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage patent prosecution matters, particularly in technology and computer software.
• Draft and file patent applications, respond to office actions and liaise with the USPTO.
• Advise clients on patent strategies, portfolio management, and IP protection in the tech sector.
• Leverage your portable book of business to drive client relationships and business growth.
• Work on large, complex cases that require collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on developments in patent law and technology trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar the applicant is based and the USPTO.
• 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution, with a focus on technology and computer software.
• Strong technical background in computer science, software, or a related field.
• Portable book of business (required for both Associates and Partners)
• Excellent communication, legal writing, and client management skills.
• Proven ability to handle large patent portfolios and high-value cases.
