Technology Transactions Associate (Junior to Mid-Level)

Location: San Francisco

Experience: 3 - 5 Years of Experience in IP & Technology Transactions Law

Salary: $260,000 to $365,000

Previous experience:

  • A strong knowledge of intellectual property law and 3 - 5 years of drafting and negotiation experience spanning a wide variety of technology transactions including:
  1. Licenses of software, technology and content, software and technology development agreements, and professional services agreements;
  2. Manufacturing, collaboration, and supply and distribution agreements;
  3. E-commerce, media and entertainment transactions;
  4. Assisting on M+A and equity financing transactions, including drafting of transaction agreements and due diligence of contract and IP matters.


Other qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials in intellectual property, technology and commercial law coursework at a top-tier law school.
  • California state Bar Admission.
  • Able to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
  • Interest in/experience with artificial intelligence is a plus.
  • A technical background (e.g., a science degree or computer programming experience) is a plus but, not required.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent leadership skills.
