In this role, you will work with various renewable energy systems including ASHP, solar thermal, solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and air conditioning.


Job Summary:

As an HVAC - Service, Maintenance, and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning ASHPs (air to water and air to air), air conditioning, heating, and hot water systems for commercial and domestic clients. You will also receive training in Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and MVHR systems.


Key Responsibilities:

- Perform service, maintenance, and commissioning tasks on renewable energy systems.

- Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to clients.

- Interpret and understand design schematics.

- Prepare and submit site work reports to the Customer Service department.

- Provide training and support to other team members.


Required Qualifications:

- FGAS certification.

- Level 3 certification in heating and plumbing.

- 18th Edition certification.


Experience and Skills:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

- Proficiency in IT skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Full UK clean driving license.

- Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols.

- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

- Professional and presentable with outstanding interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.


Benefits:

- Full-time, permanent position.

- Competitive salary within the range of £45,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience.

- Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 45 hours per week.

- Generous holiday entitlement of 28 days per year, including bank holidays, with the opportunity to earn up to 5 additional days based on completed holiday years.
