In-house Attorney - Office of the General Counsel

Location: New York

An AM Law 200 firm is in search of  attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join the Office of the General Counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of ethical regulations and associated legal issues.
• Review and edit agreements established with clients and external parties.
• Draft and enforce internal Firm policies and protocols.
• Evaluate and advise on potential client and business conflicts.
• Respond to discovery requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with potential claims and litigation matters.
• Collaborate on the development of training programs and deliver presentations

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a high level of academic achievement.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Strong familiarity with ethical rules and their application.
• Willingness to undertake a diverse range of tasks with significant responsibility.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is anticipated to fall between $200,000 and $275,000 annually. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate's skills, relevant experience, and other qualifications aligned with the position's requirements, all in accordance with applicable laws.
