The Industrial Park operates one of the largest and most significant industrial parks in Germany, with a workforce of over 5,800 employees. Job Overview:

As a (Senior) Process Control & Data Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, operational safety, and optimization of our control systems. You will be actively involved in renovation, new construction projects, and commissioning, contributing to the development and implementation of standards in the field of process control and network control technology. This role requires the creation and implementation of control system concepts, preparation of technical documentation and training materials, as well as participation in various projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and operational safety of control systems.
  • Identify plant risks and weaknesses and optimize for quality-assured and efficient plant operation.
  • Actively participate in renovation, new construction projects, and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement standards in the field of process control/network control technology.
  • Create and implement control system concepts.
  • Prepare technical documentation and training materials.
  • Collaborate in various projects.


Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in engineering with a focus on automation technology or electrical engineering (or equivalent). Multiple years of professional experience in process control or network control technology are preferred.
  • Comprehensive expertise in network technology, automation technology, and process control technology.
  • Proficiency in the use of process control systems for automating process engineering processes and in network control systems.
  • Experience in adhering to industry-relevant rules and regulations concerning technology, occupational safety, and information security (OT Security).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for teamwork and the ability to collaborate with individuals of diverse personalities.
