Role Overview: The firm is seeking a driven and motivated Private Fund / CFO Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience in collateralized fund obligations, private funds, debt capital markets, NAV facilities, and/or similar structured financing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of running deals, managing teams, and drafting primary deal documents. This role involves working across all three of the firm's US offices, with the flexibility to be based in Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, or Washington, DC.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage deals involving collateralized fund obligations, private funds, debt capital markets, NAV facilities, and similar structured financing products.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate primary deal documents.
  • Collaborate with and manage teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients in a dynamic and expanding client-facing practice.
  • Engage in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least three years of relevant experience in collateralized fund obligations, private funds, debt capital markets, NAV facilities, and/or similar structured financing products.
  • Proven experience in running deals and managing teams.
  • Strong drafting skills and experience with primary deal documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to add immediate value in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate will be based.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated annual base salary range of $260,000 to $435,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
