Supply Chain Analyst

Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our demand and inventory planning efforts. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to inform supply chain decision making and ensuring our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities:
● Manage global inventory levels, and ensure inventory level is optimised.
● Responsible for inventory forecasting and re-ordering, and reducing stockout rate.
● Monitor and analyse historical sales data (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) and market trends to gather insights and spot patterns.
● Constantly challenge and scrutinize forecasts or requested stock allocations when needed, by analysing market trends, vendor performance, and sales trends.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to gather data and insights that support inventory forecasting and ordering. (promotional activities)
● Develop awareness of direct and indirect factors that will affect supply chain (weather, festive seasons, logistical limitations), and use such insights to drive accurate inventory forecasting.
● Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
● Analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and to drive operational efficiency in areas such as inventory level, delivery times, transportation costs, warehouse costs, and other factors that impact the supply chain. ● Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
● 3+ years of experience in a data-driven supply chain role, with a focus on demand and inventory planning
● Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to inform decision making
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
● Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis tools
