Senior Investment Management Associate 

Location: New York or San Francisco

Salary: $260,000 - $420,000 (depends on experience, eligible for hours-based bonus).

An AM Law 200 firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate to join the Investment Management sub-group of its Corporate & Finance Group in either New York or San Francisco. This opportunity offers significant responsibility, close collaboration with partners, and a supportive, mentoring environment within a highly collaborative team.

This role will involve a variety of investment management transactional work, with a focus on private fund formation, as well as, advising on matters related to the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree (must be class of 2017-2021)
• Membership in good standing to the bar in New York or California.
• Experience in investment management transactional work, including private fund formation.
• Familiarity with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience representing institutional investors and wealth advisor firms is preferred but not required.
