National Security (International Trade) Junior to Mid-level Associate

Location: Washington, D.C.



About the Position:

An Am Law 200 firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its National Security group in Washington, D.C. This role is for candidates with three to six years of relevant experience, particularly in international trade.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on legal matters related to national security and international trade.
  • Engage with clientele, providing legal advice and representation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop strategies for handling legal issues.
  • Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in national security and international trade law.
  • Education: J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Skills:
  • Academic credentials.
  • Writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage legal matters efficiently.
  • Relocation: Candidates seeking relocation are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

  • Base Salary: $260,000 - $390,000 annually.
  • Note: The actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
