Junior Energy Transactions Associate

Location: Houston, New York, or Washington D.C.

Salary: $225,000 to $250,000

Our client, a leading AM Law 200 firm, seeks an attorney with 2-3 years of experience in Energy & Infrastructure transactions.

The successful candidate will join a team representing major national and international stakeholders in the energy market, handling matters throughout the project lifecycle and across various project financing structures, including sustainability-linked and green loan principles-aligned structures. This role offers meaningful work and promotes collaboration within a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar (active and in good standing)
• 2-3 years of experience with Energy & Infrastructure transactions
• Experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience in project and energy financing, energy and infrastructure M&A, tax equity, or IRA credit (preferred)
