Position: Associate Attorney – Business & Litigation

About the Opportunity

One of the reputable firms we work with in Stuart, FL is looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney with experience in business litigation. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the Managing Partner. You’ll manage your own caseload while working alongside a seasoned team focused on effective advocacy and client success.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strong work ethic, and is passionate about delivering excellent legal service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle your own caseload from start to finish, including strategy, filings, hearings, and potential trials.
• Draft legal documents: pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and client communications.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, depositions, and case evaluations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Work closely with legal support staff to ensure timely and accurate case progress.
• Participate in case strategy meetings, business development efforts, and firm-wide planning.
• Guide and collaborate with junior staff where appropriate.
• Contribute to the firm’s presence through articles, networking, and speaking opportunities.

What They’re Looking For

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Graduate of an accredited law school.
• 4–6 years of relevant litigation experience; trial experience is a plus.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, self-motivated, and client-focused.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 (depending on experience)
• Time Off: 3 weeks of vacation and 1 week of paid sick leave (accrued, post-probation)
• Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage (75% of employee-only premiums paid)
• Paid Holidays: 12 per year
• Probation Period: 90 days
