Description & Requirements

The firm seeks a highly qualified Counsel track attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in Winston-Salem, NC. The position will be part of a growing team of regulatory attorneys and scientists primarily focused on supporting clients regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The role offers opportunities to learn new areas of adjacent law and requires flexibility to support dynamic client needs.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with federal regulatory submissions and compliance
  • Familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act and notice and comment rulemaking
  • Strong scientific and technical background
  • Ability to conduct research and apply laws, court decisions, scientific literature, and administrative agency documents for exceptional advocacy and counsel
  • Collaborative and cooperative working style with attorneys, scientists, paralegals, and staff
  • Licensed in North Carolina, willing to take the next available North Carolina bar exam, or eligible for admission without examination
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, regulatory meetings, and other proceedings as necessary


Additional Information

  • This position is not eligible for fully remote work. Full-time on-site work is preferred, though hybrid configurations of 1-2 days per week may be considered.
