Debt and Leveraged Finance Counsel or Senior Associate

Location: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C, Santa Monica or Seattle

Salary: $365,000 - $425,000

The Am Law 200 Firm seeks a highly experienced attorney to join their growing Debt and Leveraged Finance practice. This role integrates with their established Corporate Group and focuses on representing borrowers in complex financial transactions. Partnership or non-partnership track possible.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of debt and finance transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based facilities, and acquisition financings.
• Potential for involvement in the firm's M&A practice (optional).

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree 
• 5+ years of experience in leveraged/banking finance, representing borrowers
• Proven track record of success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with out-of-court restructurings (preferred)
• Business development potential (preferred)
• Familiarity with technology/life sciences sectors (preferred)
