A prominent law firm is seeking to expand its Chambers-ranked Privacy & Security practice by adding a Junior Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law. This position involves business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and other technology transactions, as well as general commercial contracting. The opportunity is available in the firm's Silicon Valley (CA) and New York offices.
This firm is dedicated to serving technology and life sciences companies, from innovators to market leaders, in industries such as artificial intelligence, social media, gaming, cybersecurity, autonomous vehicles, cryptocurrency, and digital healthcare. The firm assists companies of all sizes in planning for growth and managing the risks associated with the collection, use, and disclosure of consumer, health, financial, employee, and other sensitive information. It offers comprehensive cybersecurity legal services, including governance, preparedness, compliance, data breach response, and defense of regulatory investigations and multidistrict class-action litigation.

Experience with adtech and AI is desirable but not essential. Exceptional candidates looking to transition to privacy and cybersecurity with experience in either M&A or technology transactions will be considered.
Bar Membership: California or New York bar membership (as appropriate) or eligibility to take the next available exam is required.

Salary Range: $235,000 - $310,000
Actual base salary offered may depend upon various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, education level, certifications, professional licenses, and, if applicable, the applicant's location.
