Summary
A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its private equity group. As a private equity associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a Chambers-rated and growing practice across industries. This position is open to the New York City office.

Responsibilities
- Work on private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions involving credit facilities such as senior secured term loans, cash flow and ABL revolving credit facilities, first/second lien and subordinated mezzanine credit facilities, as well as all related commitment letters, engagement letters, term sheets, fee letters, and collateral documentation for such facilities
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience
- Private equity lender-side representation preferred

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency
- In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the pay rate for this position, if hired to work in New York City, is $250,000 – $400,000 per year. The compensation offered will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
