The Job:

• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
• Get involved in brainstorming, designing, and implementing state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure/architecture that have high performance and scalability.
• Set up and optimise the cost of infrastructure and tooling.
• Work closely with the Engineering team to identify and resolve system issues, and perform incidence management & root cause analysis.
• Strive for continuous improvement and build Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).

Requirements

The Person:

• Possesses a Bachelor's Degree/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience in operating on cloud environments (preferably AWS) or any other Linux based infrastructure.
• Experience in standard infrastructure technologies: storage, networking, servers, load balancing, DNS, etc.
• Experience in Infrastructure as code services such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Experience in provisioning and managing containerized environments such as ECS, EKS and Docker.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python.
• Knowledge of source code management such as Git.
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS CodePipelines.
• Experience in configuring and managing relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Mongo would be a big plus.
• Possesses good command of English, a positive work attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels.
• Able to work well under pressure and accepts criticism positively.
• Pleasant disposition, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
• Passionate in learning and expanding their general and technical knowledge.
