Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Midlevel
Job Description:
A leading international law firm, consistently recognized on Fortune’s Best Places to Work list, is seeking a Midlevel Associate Attorney for its Labor & Employment practice group. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, client-focused approach, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Position Overview:
- Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA
- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in employment law
- Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions (preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm).
- Manage single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits.
- Address wage and hour matters and provide client counseling.
- Draft legal documents including:
- Motions to compel arbitration
- Discovery requests and responses
- Oppositions to motions for class certification (including declaration gathering)
- Long-form settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions
- Separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs
- Conduct labor due diligence on M&A deals (preferred).
Qualifications:
- Admission to the California bar.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent legal writing skills.
- Experience with employment litigation, single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, and wage and hour matters.
- Ability to draft various legal documents as listed.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually (based on qualifications and experience)
