Mid-level Associate: Commercial Litigation

Location: South Florida, Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach

Our client, a distinguished law firm with a commitment to providing exceptional legal services across Construction, Business & Real Estate, Labor & Employment, Factoring Litigation, International Business and OSHA Defense, is in search of a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its South Florida office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a U.S. accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida, in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business law, with commercial litigation expertise.
• Strong academic record and excellent writing skills

Responsibilities

•  Draft and file pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other court documents.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Attend depositions, prepare witnesses, handle court hearings, and manage trials when necessary.
• Develop strategic plans and provide client counsel, acting as the primary liaison between the firm and clients.
• Manage and respond to written discovery requests.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, dedication and client service.
