JOB BRIEF

Are you well-versed in the ICP/DNO industry and seeking career advancement?

We are collaborating with the UK's top reserve power developer. As they prepare to launch their ICP services and obtain NERS accreditation, they are now recruiting a Head of ICP to spearhead this endeavour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Technical Advisor to secure NERS accreditation
• Build and manage the delivery and operations team
• Support STOR Power with Grid Connections up to 132kV
• Maintain financial accountability for the business
• Collaborate with sales and design to develop optimal client solutions
• Establish and enforce ICP policies
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Promote health and safety standards
• Meet delivery target dates and monitor project performance

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strategic project and operations management experience in a similar role within the utilities industry
• Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement in existing and new processes
• Proven experience in the ICP industry and a solid understanding of the DNO design process
• Comprehensive knowledge of the DNO/ICP delivery process
• Experience leading multi-functional teams
• Strong expertise in grid connections up to 132kV
• 5+ years of experience in construction/engineering, including time spent as a project manager/engineer working on HV assets or in tendering/design
• Stakeholder, contract, and team management experience
• Ability to work under pressure and make evidence-based decisions
