Life Science Patent Litigation Associate - Mid-Level

Location: Washington, DC, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley

A top global law firm seeks mid-level patent litigation associates to join its Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group in the Washington, DC office. 

The IP & Technology group consists of approximately 100 attorneys who advise clients throughout the lifecycle of their most important assets - patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and related issues. The Patent Litigation team has proven trial/appellate experience, strategic approaches, and technical knowledge to enforce and defend patent rights, particularly in life sciences and technology.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience handling/managing Hatch-Waxman or biotherapeutics cases in District Court or before PTAB

- Experience litigating and managing therapeutic cases (biological or chemical)  

- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills

- Ability to manage/mentor junior associates

- Excellent management, organization, and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and creatively

- Technical life science undergraduate and/or graduate degree preferred

- Excellent academic credentials and references

- Licensed to practice law in DC, NY or CA.

The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000 commensurate with experience.
