Mid-level Real Estate Associate

An AM Law 200 firm seeks a driven Real Estate Associate with 3-5 years of sophisticated transactional experience to join their thriving practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and due diligence. Experience in the convenience store, family office, or renewables sectors is highly desrable.

This role will involve working on a variety of complex real estate transactions, including:

• Purchase and Sale Agreements: Drafting and negotiating agreements for the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties.
• Leases: Preparing and reviewing commercial leases, representing both landlords and tenants.
• Joint Ventures: Structuring and negotiating joint venture agreements for real estate development and investment projects.
• Due Diligence: Conducting thorough due diligence reviews for real estate transactions.

Requirements:

• Admitted to the Texas bar.
• Juris Doctor (JD).
• 3-5 years of sophisticated experience in real estate transactions.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The expected salary for this position is from $225,000 - $390,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent, with applicable law.
