Position: Senior Litigation Attorney

Location: Stuart, Florida

Compensation: $140,000 – $185,000 annually

A growing law firm in Stuart, FL is looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to take charge of complex cases and guide the litigation team. This is more than just a litigation role — it's a leadership opportunity for a seasoned professional ready to mentor junior attorneys, manage high-level caseloads, and be a key player in driving firm success.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Litigation Attorney, you’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities that go beyond court appearances:

• Lead complex litigation: Draft motions, conduct legal research, manage discovery, represent clients in court, depositions, and mediations.
• Client engagement: Be the main point of contact for clients, providing strategy and counsel from initial consultation to resolution.
• Team leadership: Mentor junior associates, delegate assignments, and oversee work quality.
• Strategic input: Participate in firm planning, collaborate on marketing initiatives, and attend networking events or speaking engagements.
• Operations support: Coordinate with our Firm Administrator on internal procedures and participate in regular status meetings with leadership.

Your Day-to-Day

• Respond to emails, prioritize tasks, and review key deadlines.
• Draft legal documents and prepare case materials.
• Conduct regular meetings with your team to assess case progress.
• Keep clients informed through updates and thoughtful communication.

Weekly/Monthly Focus:

• Host case review sessions and strategy meetings.
• Help the team meet monthly targets for case settlements and demands.
• Ensure consistent progress and documentation across active matters.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Attorney in the State of Florida, in good standing.
• 7–10 years of litigation experience, ideally in business and commercial litigation.
• Experience leading jury trials as first chair (at least five).
• Proven ability to manage a team and juggle multiple priorities without compromising quality.
