
Senior Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Attorney
Location: Seattle, WA (with additional locations considered)

Position Overview: The firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Advertising, Marketing & Promotions practice. This is a non-partnership track role with a reduced billable hour requirement, competitive compensation, and a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be eager to lead and manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate various agreements, including those for ad agencies, influencers, celebrity endorsements, sponsorships, and online media buying.
- Review advertising content to ensure compliance with laws related to false advertising, intellectual property, and rights of publicity.
- Advise clients on contest and sweepstakes regulations, price advertising, recurring subscription programs, and loyalty/rewards programs.
- (Optional) Handle disputes related to false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division matters.
Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
- Excellent academic background, legal writing, and communication skills.
- Experience in a large or medium law firm is preferred.
- Hybrid work environment preferred, with occasional visits to the Seattle office.
- Admission to the WA bar is preferred but not required.
- Preference for candidates interested in the Pacific Northwest, though not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary: $180,000 - $205,000, depending on experience.
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
