We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join us in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and who will be responsible for managing and developing Magnetic Training and Engineering sales opportunities in the Asia – Pacific region.
Your challenge will be to massively grow Magnetic Group's presence in Asia – Pacific region, by establishing various partnerships, building the infrastructure for company expansion, becoming a company face, and representing us at exhibitions across the region.
As a Business Development Manager, your main tasks will be to:
• Setting up a growth strategy for Engineering and Training services sales focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction for the Asia – Pacific region. • Delivering agreed financial targets. • Contribute to the development of Magnetic Group’s engineering (CAMO) and training products; • Conducting continuous research to identify new markets and customer needs for the services; • Promoting the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives; • Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers; • Generating leads (including cold calls), presenting, promoting and selling goods/services to existing and prospective customers; • Active search by phone and email for customer and potential partners; • Negotiating with suppliers and customers to maximize sales and profit; • Forecasting sales, developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluating their effectiveness. • Representing the company in EXPOS’s and conferences To be successful in this role, you should have: • Proven work experience in B2B international sales attracting new customers; • Previous experience in business development/sales area in the aviation sector, preferably from an MRO or operator side; • Experience in Engineering/CAMO services – would be an advantage; • Self starting (Ene, please correct if exact term is different); • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills; • Ability to open, maintain and develop new customers; • Goal-driven and proactive attitude, persuasiveness, stress tolerance; • Hard worker, as the industry is 24/7; • Ability to travel, visit customers and aviation industry events. • Excellent English language skills, all other languages will be an advantage;
