CBO will be responsible for all operational aspects of the company, including corporate and business development activities, strategic planning, budget development and control, commercial input into sales development, as well as support investor relationships and fundraising.


Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


Job Description: -

  • Work closely with the CEO and members of the leadership team and Board of Directors to define Pgeon Express vision and strategy for long range planning, including corporate development and partnering strategy.
  • Build corporate structure of our growing business and develops the company culture with the CEO
  • To oversee & manage Pgeon sale, margin and Income target, while maintaining price competitiveness which maximizes business profits
  • Lead on all business revenue, support and growth activities.
  • Develop and control the annual budget
  • Monitor competitive intelligence by keeping up to date on market trends, competitors and opportunities
  • Maximize sales and profit by utilizing category management techniques to manage assortment, pricing, and promotion.
  • Negotiate significant company contracts, deals and financings & support IR/PR activities and fundraising activities.
  • Plan out priority partners to pursue, in line with overall Pgeon strategy.
  • Joint business planning with leadership team and business partners to map out the roadmap of initiatives ➢ Collaborate with country business development team to align on strategy and partnership targets.
  • Set the overall strategy for the commercial team and revenue targets for the team


Ability: -

  • Strong focus on budgets, targets and its achievements.
  • Responsibility and accountability for revenue and sales numbers with agreed profit margins
  • Understand and improvise the risk framework of the business and monitor the key risk indices actively to mitigate the same.
  • Work with different departments to identify business growth opportunities throughout the entire company.
  • Identify areas of improvement in teams and processes and take necessary initiatives to bridge these gaps for delivery to long-term strategy.
  • Constantly provide constructive feedback & opinion to Technology, operation and Marketing departments to drive future roadmap.
  • Provide regular reporting to the leadership team on progress against the business plan, risks and support required.
  • Keep the business relevant and ahead of the market by constantly interpreting customer, market and logistic & e-commerce trends and providing feedback to the leadership team.
  • Define priorities based on impact, confidence, and easiness


Job Requirements: -

  • Entrepreneurial experience & mindset; previous C-level experience in logistic and e-Commerce will be an advantage.
  • Highly motivated to succeed, flexible, adaptable in fast-paced environments and passionate on continuous improvement, growth and change.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills to manage multi tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Superb interpersonal & presentation skills and a creative thinker.
