The Charlotte office of a prominent Am Law 200 firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Financial Services & Securities Enforcement Practice. This team effectively represents the interests of the financial services sector in a wide range of matters, including securities, lender liability, regulatory issues, loan workouts, foreclosures, class actions, and credit card-related matters. Their experience encompasses the expanding services offered by financial institutions, including recent cases involving securities fraud, failed asset securitizations, and defaulted syndicated loans.
The Associate will contribute to sophisticated litigation matters, including large exposure cases, often involving the financial services industry. Responsibilities may include: legal research and analysis; drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, discovery management, witness preparation and interviews., client communication and reporting, as well as, trial preparation and support.
