What’s on FunNow menu are high-end hotels, fine dining restaurants and, spa/massage wellness centre. Due to our success in helping thousands of merchants to handle their reservations, we drew interest from Alibaba group who eventually invested 5 million US dollars last year, along with other prominent partners such as Line, Alipay, and Michelin guide.

 

FunNow has officially entered Malaysia in January 2019, with the capabilities of Taiwanese launchers and amazing local team members, we have achieved 5000 active users in the region. With this achievement, we are able to gain the trust of influential partners such as Citi Bank, UOB, and Maxis. 


Mission:


The Public Relations Executive  will work closely with the FunNow Malaysia marketing team to develop, implement public relations initiatives and is responsible for building essential media relationships, crafting key messages, and monitoring campaign progress and metrics.

Responsibilities:

● Develop exciting PR initiatives that increase FunNow Malaysia brand and product exposure in the market. ● Formulate and execute PR plans to strengthen FunNow Malaysia market position and brand image. ● Anticipate and analyse public opinion and attitudes of the local public towards FunNow Malaysia brand and campaigns. ● Develop media relations strategies to support every campaign and new move through editorial content and seek high-level placements in various media to maximise impact. ● Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign. ● Build and maintain good relationships with media, thought leaders and KOLs to grow industry and consumer awareness and act as their content source. ● Create and manage contents for press releases to communicate FunNow Malaysia campaigns and competitive advantages precisely and distribute press releases. ● Identify media and KOLs to work with, execute the outreach, oversee collaborations, monitor and evaluate their performance. ● Create compelling content with high engagement, traffic, and media value. ● Plan and execute special public outreach and media relations events. ● Assist in developing crisis communication strategy, if needed.



Ideal Candidates:

● At least 3 years of brand public relation related working experience with advantageous background in KOL collaboration. Experience in public relation agency is preferred. ● Connections of PR media and experience in cross-industry collaborations will be advantages. ● Proven track record in planning and executing key brand activities, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of brand PR initiatives. ● A start-up attitude – problem solver, driven, highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required. Able to adapt to fast-paced and constantly evolving environments. ● Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required. Good command of Chinese Mandarin is required. Good command of Bahasa Melayu is a plus. ● Team player with the ability to work across local and global teams. ● Proactive and always strive for better performance. ● Strong time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and activities. ● Able to present ideas to pitch ideas/ strategies and drive alignment.
