Mid-level Associate - M&A and Private Equity

Location: Chicago, IL

A leading Am Law 200 firm is looking to hire a mid-level associate to join its Corporate Practice team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-6 of experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
• Proven experience representing financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers across various transactions, including leveraged buyouts, sell-side deals, growth equity investments, minority investments, and related strategic initiatives.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for acquisition/disposition agreements and closing documents, with the ability to manage transactions to completion.
• A well-rounded background with experience in capital formation, partnerships, and finance (considered a plus).

Admission to the Illinois Bar is a mandatory requirement for all applicants.Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package in addition to a discretionary performance bonus.
