Position: IP Litigation/Life Sciences Mid-Level Associate

Location: Los Angeles Office

A prominent law firm is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and highly qualified mid-level associate to join its intellectual property practice. Applicants must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in a biotechnology practice and hold a degree in a life sciences technology area such as biochemistry, biology, chemistry, biomedical science, chemical engineering, molecular biology, or pharmacy.

We are looking for independent thinkers who can take on increasing responsibilities within a highly successful litigation practice. Candidates should possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage and mentor junior associates. Strong management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are essential.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience handling and preferably managing Hatch-Waxman, biosimilar, or competitor pharmaceutical cases in district court or before the PTAB.

Candidates must have strong academic credentials from an accredited law school. While our preferred locations for this position are Washington, DC, Chicago, and Los Angeles, we will also consider candidates for our other U.S. offices. Applicants must be currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction(s) where they apply.
